About Me
“If you scooped up sea water in a bottle and shook it fiercely, that was her. Sand and salt whirling unpredictably in every direction as if desperate to get out.”
I wrote that about Violet in A Wildflower for a Duke, and, like most of the characters that burst free of my imagination and splash onto paper, she is reminiscent of the real people I know best. In this case, me.

“Rarely have I been rendered speechless with my emotions all over the place as they were while reading this romance. Laura Linn’s first novel is breathtaking and astonishing.”
“What a great start for a new author. It is well written with wonderful characters and good world building. I loved everything about this book. …As I was approaching the end of the book, I already had so many ideas for a next in series. Can’t wait to see what else the author produces.”
A++, absolutely cannot wait to see what Laura Linn does next. I’m blown away that this is a debut novel. It’s one of the best books I’ve read all year. The characters are delightful, it’s incredibly romantic, the hero is the BEST golden retriever, and the representation is amazing. Reading a historical heroine with obvious ADHD was so refreshing and wonderful and made me feel so seen.
It’s rare to see an author doing something new in historical romance, but Laura Lynn manages to surprise everyone with her debut. Her cast of characters — from a broken-hearted duke to a literal goat — is rich and warm, and the pages overflow with love.
I laughed, I cried, I worried and throughly enjoyed reading the story of Gabriel and Violet and their 2 children Nora and Zachariah and how you were able to blend these 2 families so broken by the pain and sorrow of loss.
